Important notes
If you call 911 as a result of a medical emergency, please be sure to also notify the Management Office with your name, callback number, and location so that security may swiftly guide the paramedics to your exact location.
If the audible alarm within the building sounds, please DO NOT CALL the Building Management Office, unless you have something specific to report. The Building Management Office is aware of the noise, as well as the source of the alarm, whether it’s false or a legitimate emergency. Please keep the telephone lines clear so Management may attend to the situation as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Emergency Announcements
The life safety system at Denver City Center will make automatic announcements when alarmed. The announcement will be heard on the affected floor, the floor above and the floor below. All three floors are to follow the directions of the announcement. The alarm will also be heard at street level.
Alarm announcement
“Attention, Attention. An Alarm has been reported on the ______ floor. Please cease operations and begin evacuation utilizing the nearest stairwell exit. Do not use the elevators at this time”. Announcement is repeated until stopped by the Fire Department.
Floors not required to immediately evacuate will be notified by the following alternate alarm.
Alternate Floor Alarm Announcement
“Attention, Attention. An Alarm has been reported on the floor. Building management or the fire department will notify you if your floor will require evacuation. Please stand by for further instructions."
After the alarm has been investigated and cleared by the Fire Department, the following automatic announcement will be made.
All Clear announcement
“Attention, Attention. The alarm reported in the building has been resolved. All occupants may return to normal operations." Repeats twice.
